The Arena

Before you delve deep into the contents of my blog. I want you to know that I only write about events and situations where I have done a lot of the processing and healing already. Your opinion, reaction or thoughts have absolutely zero bearing on how I will make decisions regarding my family or grieving process. That being said, this is my personal journey, my family and my childhood. It’s an intimate topic. One that most people would not discuss so openly. As I invite people to partake in this content, I want to lovingly set the stage for my blog with Teddy Roosevelt’s speech entitled, Daring Greatly.

To quote Queen Brené Brown, “If you aren’t in the arena also getting your ass kicked, I’m not interested in your feedback.”
